Celtic Owl

When I saw the new embroidery pattern at Stitch Delight it was a must have. Another single fabric napkin got turned into a top for a quilt. It needed a bit of ripping until the celtic border was in the correct place, but it was a good opportunity to get familiar with the positioning feature, which my machine is offering. The stippling on my Longarm did not take much time and the binding got finished during watching TV. The whole quilt took me less than two days to make, almost a record for me.

Als ich das neue Stickmuster auf Stitch Delight gesehen habe, musste ich es sofort haben. Wieder wurde eine einzelne Stoffserviette in ein Quilttop umgewandelt. Den keltischen Rahmen musste ich ein paarmal auftrennen, bis er richtig passte. Die Gelegenheit mit der Positionshilfe, die in meiner Maschine eingebaut ist, besser vertraut zu werden. Das Quilten ging auf der Longarm recht flott und die Einfassung kam während des Fernsehens dazu. Für den ganzen Quilt brauchte ich weniger als 2 Tage; fast ein neuer Rekord für mich.
