Muddy Puddles finished

Good things take time, but now my latest project from the year 2000 is finished. For the echo quilting of the rings I used the walking food alone without the circle attachment to make it faster. It were sure more than 300 end knots that I had to hide, although the size of the quilt is only 19 x 20 inch. In the center of each circle I hand sewed a sequin, just to give it a little sparkle. For the binding I had a leftover piece about 4 x 20 inch, so I had to go through my stash to find a matching color. I ended up with a solid brown to add to get the needed length. The Monogram is embroidered, a sleeve and label added to the back. Voila, it's done!

Gut Ding braucht Weile, aber jetzt ist mein angefangenes Projekt aus dem Jahr 2000 fertig. Für das Echoquilten habe ich nur den Transportfuss ohne das Kreiszubehör verwendet, damit es einfach schneller geht. Es waren sicher mehr als 300 Endknoten, die ich zwischen die Stofflagen ziehen musste, obwohl der Quilt nur 47 x 50 cm groß ist. In die Mitte jedes Kreises habe ich eine Pailette gesetzt, damit er ein bisschen Glanz bekommt. Für die Einfassung hatte ich nur einen ca. 10 x 50 cm Rest über und musste daher in meinem Stoffvorrat nach etwas Passendem suchen. Es fand sich ein einfärbiger brauner Stoff, von dem ich soviel anstückelte, wie ich brauchte. Das Monogramm ist gestickt, ein Tunnel und Schild auf die Rückseite genäht. Voila, es ist vollbracht!
